Soft Tissue Sarcoma Cancer Patient Artwork

Mathew's Journal May 27th, 2014 List for stuff for chemo. A self-portrait of Mathew with his biliary drain and bag. Even the bandage on his abdomen. I wonder about the wings. Were they because he felt that the veil between him and the next world was wearing thin? He didn't draw his port. Was the bilibag more a part of him or did he feels it's permanence? Maybe I will find out more of his thoughts about these things as I continue my journey through his journey.
